In 2006, Daniel and Moira Bessette opened Sonoma Sterling Limousines, Inc. in their hometown of Santa Rosa. Now, 17 years later, their vision to provide reliable, professional luxury transportation has grown to a fleet of over 25 vehicles and more than 35 employees! Having nurtured a business built on satisfied customers and a solid reputation, their company has remained a locally owned family business, and the entire SSL team remains dedicated to assisting clients with personalized transportation at an affordable price.

Moira remains a member of several community nonprofits and worthwhile local clubs. Along with owning and operating Sonoma Sterling Limousines, Dan is also a certified SPAB driver and instructor! SPAB (School Pupil Activity Bus) is a State-regulated certification program for drivers to transport students for school-sanctioned sports and extracurricular events. This designation is an extra benefit for our customers and assures that your safety is our top priority. Rigorous requirements for the certification include demonstrated knowledge of state transportation law, the ability to teach students behind the wheel, and much more.

The limousine industry is unique in that it offers a desirable and valuable commodity for many charitable organizations. Because we value community above all else, it is only natural that we support worthwhile causes whenever we are able! Since the founding of Sonoma Sterling Limousines, Inc., we have donated a number of services and gift certificates to help raise funds for organizations, such as the Sonoma County Humane Society, Laguna de Santa Rosa Foundation, and a variety of local Elementary, Middle, and High Schools. With increased customer demand for large-capacity luxury vehicles, our popular Mercedes Sprinter Vans and MKT Stretch Limousines meet the state’s most rigorous requirements for safety. Our MKT limousines feature two rear doors and two emergency exit push-out side windows. We offer our passengers peace of mind by knowing that they’re riding in the safest possible vehicles. All of our vehicles carry additional safety equipment including fire extinguishers, safety hammers, and first aid kits.
